Lets see your Teaguie Roll

Teague rolled over for the first time today! I had him in his crib just hanging out on his back and next thing I know he is on his tummy. He didn't go all the way over for the rest of the day but he would teeter on the edge alot. He is so dang wiggly that his covers always end up all the way up on his face when he takes a nap. I was in the kitchen with the baby monitor on today and he was napping, but woke up and started to cry. I thought his cry sounded kindof strange because it sounded kind of muffled. I ran up stairs to see what was going on and he had pulled the blanket all the way up over his head and he was screaming and thrashing around like an animal in a burlap sack. Crazy KID!

Loose Tooth

This morning Brode woke up and said "MOM, I think I might have a loose tooth" I gave it a wiggle and it is definately loose! So this is going to be Brode's first tooth that he looses. For those of you who haven't seen Brode lately he already has a tooth missing but this one was not lost by falling out. It was pulled after it broke in half due to trauma when he was little. So it will be funny to see him with two teeth out. The other tooth will probably still be a while until it grows back. He is super excited to be loosing his FIRST TOOTH!

Our Karate Kid

Brode passed his test to receve his green stripe belt in Taekwondo! Congratulations Brode. He did a great job and was one of the most energetic in the class. It is really fun to watch him do his moves. I just laugh the whole time! I forgot my camera so these images are on my cell phone camera but at least I got some! I was so bummed when I realized that I forgot it!

Skoose me!

I have a great friend who has a great company called Skoose Design. If you haven't heard of these cool nursing capes you are missing out! What a great way to feed our little monsters and not have to fidget with a blanket. They have boning in the top so that the cape stands out away from you so you can see the baby. The thing that is special about her design is that it converts into a little purse that hold Diapees and wipees etc. I also like that the material is lightweight. I used mine in the heat in maui and it is great not to have to sit under a hot blanket! I love mine and take it everywhere. It is so convenient and slips into a larger diaper bag easily, or you can take it by itself. So if you need a super cool baby gift check out http://www.skoosedesign.com/.

Seat Belt Bags

So this is my new obsession! I have always been in to purses since I was a little girl. (Just ask my mom) But I have yet to find the perfect bag. I recently heard about these Harveys Seat Belt Bags and I desperately want one! They look so stinkin' cute and they are super durable. I love that they can go dressy or casual! So before I go and spend what seems like alot of money on a purse I am soliciting anyone who has one to tell me if they LOVE it! I am super cheap and I can't stomach the price unless I am sure it is as good as it looks. Check them out at http://www.seatbeltbags.com/
Also if anyone knows where to get a knockoff I would be game for that too!

Miracles do happen

I know that my family has seen these pictures on other family members websites, but I had to post it for my friends to see. Here are all the babies! Me and my three sisters were all pregnant at the same time, all due within four months of each other and here are the results! Four sweet little additions to the family. One in December, January, March and April! This makes 11 grandchildren for my mom and dad! I had to laugh at this picture because it shows how hard it is to get a picture of four newborns. haha

Monsters under my bed

Lately both of my kids have been scared of monsters at night. (conveniently) They are trying really hard to avoid having to go to bed. For some strange reason Brode's solution is to sleep on his bedroom floor. He says it is to keep watch for the monsters. Well whatever, but this is Peytons solution. If you can't tell what is going on in the picture she has a row of dolls all lined up around her pillow. Our nightly routine goes something like this...
P- "Im scared"
M- "Ok, who do you want to sleep with you to keep you safe?"
P- "My strawberry shortcake dolly"
M- "OK here she is"
P- " ....and my apricot dolly, and my barbie mariposa, the green one, and the pink one, and the blue one, and the purple one, and my baby strawberry dolls, and my cheerbear and......
Well you get the idea. she would have her entire bed full if I didn't put a stop to it!
Peyton is a quirky little girl but she certainly knows what she want. I hope that she maintains that attribute throughout her life! Then she always proceeds to melt my heart by letting me know that Jesus protects our house too. She says he is protecting the windows.

Happy Birthday To Princess P

Yeah Strawberry shortcake babies

Here she is the birthday princess. Peyton had so much fun with her neighborhood friends and all her fun new toys. She absolutely loved getting all princessed up for the party. She even ended up with two different birthday girl crowns courtesy of Dad and our Toni.

This just cracks me up. What is this look about?

We had a fun party and Peyton got ROYALY SPOILED. She is simply the cutest 3 year old I know.

Soccer season begins

Does he look like he is having fun?
It is so exciting to be out watching Brode play sports. I always miss it during winter! As you can see this year Brode has some fancy footwork. He was so excited to play and it was hilarious to watch.

He was right in there until about half time when he was JUST TOO TIRED due to the fact that we only have four kids on our team and all four had to play the whole game without any subs. I am hoping this dosent discourage him because his earlier enthusiasm was so cute.

Maybe this is why he got so tired. He spent every minute between plays doing cartwheels accross the field. What a crazy kid!

Teague is 12 weeks old

Look how big and sweet this boy is. He is a joy almost every minute. He sleeps 10 hours a night and eats to his hearts content. He likes to say goo and ahh, smiles lots and laughs out loud. This kid is too much fun! As you can see he can sit up in this little chair and hold his head pretty steady now. They grow so fast!
